Cloth diapers have always fascinated me, but I just don't have the guts. Besides, I have enough on my plate to be scrubbing poo too. But it is swim season once again. I was interested in trying reusable swim diapers last year, I can't remember why I didn't pursue it. Though the idea of buying swim diapers for two babies has renewed the desire. We got home and I wanted to try them on the girls to make sure they fit right. I took Sarah's DRY diaper off (that should have given me the hint) and put her little swim diaper on under her swimsuit. She got up and was running around while I got Rachel ready. As I was putting little Rachel Ann's on, she peed in it. I also noticed that Sarah took the opportunity relieve herself too. Nice. Just like disposable swim diapers, they are not meant to hold in the wet, so I wasn't surprised. I really hope this is going to be a happy purchase. It makes me feel like I'm doing cloth diapering, but on a much smaller scale. I can handle that.

They are SOOO cute! I love their little swimsuits. And, way to go on the cloth swim diapers. I've also been scared to go cloth--but, I always admire others who do.
where did you get them?
You can get them at amazon. There are cute selections. I loved the swim diapers with cute skirts and tankinis. I had read that Target some simple ones called wee wave and BabiesRus had someting similar. I went to Target and could not find them. Before I drove all the way over to BabiesRus I decided to check Kid2Kid and got lucky. I got two for Sarah, wee wave and iplay for $3 each and Rachel's for $2. If you want to try it out first, Lilly can borrow one of Sarah's. It does sound gross, sharing diapers, but hey, what's a washing machine for?
