Four Plus One, Can Be Done!

I took the kids to Meyer Park this morning. It was the first time going to a park all alone with four kids. We did great! We went with bread. Not only did we feed the ducks, we fed turtles, nutria, geese, pigeons and of course a daughter.

Jacob pointed this "little" family out. I'm so glad, I would have missed it. They were very obedient little ducklings and kept very close to their mommy where ever she lead them. (Sigh) This mommy can only dream;)

Good thing the bread hadn't yet turned green and moldy. YUM!

I think this may be a favorite tree of Jacob's.

Obviously, Michael's objective was not to watch the wildlife eat. I think he was just trying to see how far he could throw.

The boys were great. We also spent some time on the play equipment. The boys were on the big kid jungle gym, but came and played with Sarah while I took care of Rachel's tummy. Good thing the park was not crowded, because Rachel does not like being covered by a blanket while she eats... lovely.

I pushed Sarah on the swings while the boys went and played war with stick guns. Sarah was watching them. She kept saying, "Michael". She is getting good at saying all her siblings names.

When I was pregnant with Sarah I said I didn't care whether I had a boy or a girl. I felt like if we had a boy, he'd fit right in, but I also felt that a girl would really change the dynamics of our family and be a good addition...It is fun seeing how true that is. Sarah and Rachel are lucky girls. Jacob and Michael might have a love/hate relationship, but when it comes to their sisters they are caring and serve freely. Brothers are awesome!

Good for you:) I'm glad that you had another girl. It looks like it was a nice day at the park.
