Rock-a-bye-baby...

I was very excited about this find. I saw this baby Moses basket and stand at our Kid to Kid store down the road and went for it. I did some online price searching and am happy to say I saved QUITE a bit by purchasing this second hand.
I do love the cowboy theme, but for me, visually, this fabric combo just doesn't work...so, to the fabric store!!! I was looking for a non-gender specific fabric and was very unhappy with my choices. Then on the way home I realized the answer to my fabric problem was to make the bedding reversible.

Here's my finished product. I love how it turned out! It was a great project and a fun challenge coming up with my own pattern. I'm glad to be done and will never make another one again:) Good thing it is reversible.

Oh. And Yes. We will be placing a baby in it soon...very soon.

That is awesome!! I am totally impressed. You rock about the moses basket, but you suck because you didn't say anything about being pregnant when we talked on the phone the other day. You're so lame!! Also, FYI, I used a moses basket with Nicole until the lining came off the basket part and covered her face and she couldn't get it off (I was in the shower and luckily Hailey saved her life). So just make sure that the lining is REALLY secure. It's way cute and I can't wait to hear about your new little one!
