A promise fulfilled....finally! When we moved, I told Jacob that once we were all moved in with all the boxes unpacked, we could build something with the boxes. For the first while I could get away with saying the boxes were not all unpacked, but I have about four boxes that I'm in no hurry to unpack, so I didn't really feel my excuse was valid anymore. Jacob was excited when I told him to draw me up a picture of what we were going to make. I'd scan in his cute picture of the castle he drew, if my scanner was unpacked (wink, wink).
The boys did a great job painting. When Michael was finished painting, Jacob saw to it that the project was completed. I would have liked to make a fake balcony with a window just above the door. Jacob says no, because someone could break through and get into the castle. SO apparently that would mess with the imagination. But he does want me to build a backside. We are definitely not throwing this one out anytime soon. It may end up in the rafters in the garage. You never know when you might need a castle.

It looks awesome Wendy! Boxes are always great. Don't let my kids see the castle for a while, right now I don't have time to make one...
I love it! Way to be a great Mommy. I love the smiles at the end!!! What great imagination!! Thanks for the pictures.
