Jacob has had no desire to ride his bike without training wheels. I've heard him mention that when he has a big bike he'd want training wheels on it too. Last week Steven decided to bend the training wheels up. They were still there, but he only used them to start and turn. Well yesterday evening, Steven noticed that he really didn't need them anymore, so he bent them up even further. I loved that Jacob wasn't worried because they were still there. Steven said, "Hey Jacob, let's take those off, you don't need them anymore." It was really fun. All we had to do was show him where to place to pedal for starting and he was off.
Michael's been having a great time, he upgraded from his little red tricycle to this speeding bike. Grandma found it for $2.50 and we just put new pedals and training wheels on. Biking has been a great activity in our home, lately.

Yeah! Audrey just mastered that a couple of days ago! We need to have a bike riding party!
