"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, I Caught a Fish Alive..."

Our dear "Blackie" has vanished from our fish tank and from our lives forever. Who is responsible for this crime?

Suspect #1
Goes by the name of Whiskers, the pictus catfish. He appears harmless as he lies around all day in partial hiding. Of course being nocturnal, his nighttime behavior remains unknown. For all we know this "bottom feeder" has Blackies remains burried at the bottom of the tank.

Suspect #2
(not the original, suspect #2 unwilling to come out of hiding for photo)
The Blue Redtail Botia, who appears never to eat or look hungry, remains deep in the tunnels of a rock. Why such a lack of appitite, we ask? Could it be, he lured our finny friend to the deepest, darkest, most unable to reach place for any human hand and has been feasting on him ever since.

Suspect #3
Could it be that this Demasoni Cichlid has attacked one of his own kind? True he appears harmless, but this little guy may just be an emotional ticking bomb. Not well liked by the others, he finds himself watching all the fun from inside the safty of the sunken ship. Tired of the fear and loneliness this little bomb may just have run out of time.

This mystery remains and may always remain unsolved. May this be a lesson to all fish, watch your back and don't suck all the flavor out of each piece of food and then spit it out for the others to eat second handed.
