The Contest
Our complex did a creative way of encouraging people to "spring clean" their front porches. We were given two fliers, one for what you can and can't have on your porch and the other announcing a spring door decorating contest. My first instinct was to just throw it in the trash without a thought, but I decided to tell Jacob about it and see if he was at all interested. He liked the whole idea of a contest. It turned out to be a great project to work on together. Michael was taking a nap, so it was Jacob and I cutting and painting. As a side note, I just have to say how much I love my marble tabletop! We had paint all over, it cleans up so nicely.

Wow! Impressive. You didn't know there was money in it, did you? Also, I love the new blog color scheme.
