The Great Outdoors

We found an awesome bike trail that was recently made. It connects the park behind our library to another park further down the road. The sign says it's 5.6 mile, but I don't know. We've been loving it! Today we went with the purpose of exploring and enjoying the beautiful weather. There is a dirt trail next to the paved one and we headed down to the creek and played there for awhile. Wow. it doesn't take the boys long to get filthy. They were loving it. We enjoyed hiking through the trails and I swear Jacob could live out there.

Paved road. The boys are usually on their bikes and Sarah in the stroller.

Going with the flow.

Off roading it.

On the way back we saw some guy biking the dirt trail. I asked him if it was hard. I was curious, because Steven likes mountain biking and I was thinking it could be fun to do together. This guy was saying it wasn't to bad. He also said his friend was behind him, but that he must of fallen down. By this time a lady in skates with her dog joined in. We all see this guys friend biking towards us. He started to pedel faster to make it up this steep incline and we're all watching him, then..... WAM! His front tire hits the incline and stops and he goes flying over his handle bars. He didn't get hurt, so I don't feel bad saying it was really funny to watch.
