Ice Skating

This was so much fun. We went the evening of the day we got our Christmas tree. We picked out our tree two days after Thanksgiving and we actually needed jackets. I loved the this years Christmas tree farm experience. I wasn't worried about the boys getting lost as they excitedly ran around the tree, no one felt sad not getting to carry the sharp saw around, and no one got hurt (aunts getting bonked on the head with a giant measuring stick). It was fantastic! After setting our beautiful tree up and a relaxing afternoon we went to the ice rink. Once the boys figured it out, they loved it. Michael wore these double skates you strap to your feet and we used a walker for awhile and then they braved going on their own. Steven sat out with Sarah. He uses his skateboarding days as the reason he can't travel on a small device with his feet facing forward.

I'm so glad you had a great time getting trees this year. It made me laugh to hear your reasons for bad past experiences...I'd totally forgotten. This looks like such a fun time! The boys are darling and SO happy!! I have to admire your ice skating backwards skills to film this. Way to put your life on the line for a good video :) Can't wait to see you guys soon!
