Here's a couple of recent pictures of our gorgeous baby girl. Sarah is doing really well. For a while I cut cheese and milk out of my diet. Sarah was very gassy and it seemed to hurt. I noticed some difference, but I've slowly added it back and she's doing well. I think her system is maturing, or maybe it's all in my head. I was proud of myself for going without cheese and milk. The milk was not too hard. I did get vanilla rice milk and that worked. The cheese was VERY hard. I love cheese and didn't realize how often I ate it till I went without.
Sarah is bunking in with Jacob and Michael and it works really well. The boys love having her in with them. They are old enough to respect her space and leave her be and they even are quieter at night. Jacob's always been a night owl. He has his books and bed lamp and that is working well. Michael goes to sleep quickly most nights and rises early every morning:) Sarah has done amazing with her sleeping. She has given me a few solid night sleeps, her record is ten hours! But boy am I eager to nurse her in the morning!! She's got some chunk reserve, so I don't worry about ten hours between feedings.
We are getting lots of smiles. When Sarah gets going her whole face smiles. Deep dimples, wrinkled nose, big gummy smile. I'm noticing that when she's about to laugh, she'll do the "hu-hu" of the beginnings of a laugh, but then instead she gets the hick-ups.
Well, Sarah I am off to Arizona tomorrow for Andrea's wedding. She is getting married in the Mesa temple Friday and the reception is in Sierra Vista that night. My family has lived there since I went off to college. It will be a fun get together.
It would have been great for Steven and the boys to come too. Not very good timing. We are going to have to start doing family reunions.
All of Steven's family are coming to Houston this year, so the boys are going to have fun playing with cousins starting tomorrow. They had a sleep over at Grandma's last night. Aunt Becky is home from college so that's a double bonus treat. It was great. I finished up sewing a Christmas gift to Michael and we wrapped gifts and had a very quiet evening together. Thank you Mom R!
