Jacob and Michael's Room

This was our big project! I found these beds for $15.00 at a garage sale. I thought they were ugly! They had a really
beat up dark brown stain and I really wanted bunk beds, or so I thought at the time. I realized I had found a great find
and went back hours later to find they hadn't been sold yet, phew! I worked many hours sanding and Steven did a
beautiful job filling screw holes and painting. My fun project was sewing the fort under Jacob's bed. It is attached with
velcro-- so far I haven't had to take it down. It is too dark to play inside at night. My mom had given me a quilt knowing
I've wanted to decorate in a cowboy theme. I am feeling their room is finally coming together, minus the road mat covering
the window. A quick replacement to Jacob wrapping the cord around his waist and jumping, riping the blinds from the window.
We love our monkeys!! I now need finish Michael's quilt.
